Updated Oct 27, 2026
Discover Uni published its autumn data update on 1 October 2026, bringing NSS 2026 results into its course comparison service, according to its official data guidance.
The release connects earlier student experience with future course choices. Discover Uni's provider guidance says the current dataset concerns courses running in 2027-28. It combines provider information with NSS, Graduate Outcomes and other data. The Office for Students had already published the national NSS results on 8 July 2026; its NSS data page distinguishes provider-level results from Discover Uni's autumn course-level publication.
Discover Uni publishes NSS results with at least 10 respondents and participation by at least 50% of eligible students. Where necessary, it combines two years of responses or groups courses by subject.
The provider guidance also explains the widget shown on institutional course pages. In England, it includes whether staff value students' views; in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, it includes overall satisfaction. Both sit alongside a question about staff support for learning.
For corrections to provider-submitted information, Discover Uni describes resubmission to HESA and a weekly update cycle.
For institutional reporting, our combined survey score and comment analysis presents quantitative results alongside comment themes and sentiment.
